We've just received word that Route C (the area near Camp Mohave Elementary) has broken down. Another bus is being sent to retrieve those students, but both the elementary and JH route C will be late today. More information will be shared as it becomes available.
The Tribal Boys and Girls Club and JOM will be closed on Friday, September 28th. Parents whose children attend will need to make other arrangements for that day.
CMES would like to thank Valley View for taking the time to visit our fifth grade class on Monday. After studying the human body, the visit gave the students the real life application of the knowledge. During the presentation, students looked at x-rays, learned about the skeletal system, and even got a demonstration on basic treatments. Thank you again Valley View Medical Center.

First football home game of the season vs. KMS and MALC. Go Bulldogs!

A great big thank you to Fort Mojave Fire Department for spending some time with our Kinder students teaching about fire safety and showing us all their cool stuff that keeps us safe!

Parents, guardians, and families,
Please note that Camp Mohave received an unconfirmed report that there was a person attempting to pick students up in his vehicle. While we cannot confirm that this occurred, we have talked to the sheriff's department and they are aware of the report given to us. In addition, we would like to remind parents to talk to their kids about strangers and what to do if they are approached by one.
Thank you Laughlin Chamber of Commerce for your generous contribution earmarked for our Arts Program. This gift will go a long way in providing art experiences at MVJH. Go Bulldogs!

MVJHS celebrates Mrs. Ulibarri! She has been with MVESD for 15 years and was the first recipient of the McKellips Award. All three of her children have come through our school system and now her grandchildren are enjoying attending MVESD schools as well. She enjoys spending time with family, the smell of roses and karaoke! We sing her praises as well. Go Bulldogs!

Congratulations Mrs. Cook for being named a finalist for a Community Achievement Award! Educator of the Year indeed!
