Some first grade dust devils showing off their future boxes after quarter 1 awards!

CMES would like to remind parents that our awards ceremony will be after the break on October 19. The third grade ceremony is at 8:15, fourth grade will be at 8:50, and fifth grade will start at 9:30. Again in an effort to avoid overlapping with FME awards, we will host our awards after the break on October 19th. We hope to see you there.

Color Day for Spirit Week! Staff is all in pink❤️

This morning Mohave Valley Jr. High students reported a threat made from a fake Facebook account this weekend requiring nude photos be sent or the suspect would "blow up the school". The Mohave County Sheriff was immediately called and a soft lock-down was issued. Following the officer's investigation, it was determined that this was not a credible threat. The lock-down has been lifted, but the situation will continue to be monitored.
Pajama Day at MVJHS! Tomorrow is Twin Day!

Spirit Week at MVJHS!

Just a reminder: The tribal Boys and Girls Club and JOM will be closed today. If you haven't already done so, please be sure to make other arrangements for your children if they attend.
CMES and MVESD would like to give a shout out to WalMart of Fort Mohave for your assistance with our kids. The backpacks will go a long way to helping students with transporting work and information from school to home. In addition, the support you have given to help us purchase playground equipment is much appreciated. The new balls and gear will provide students with more choice activities during their play time. Thank you for everything you have done.
Route C is back on track, and left the junior high nearly on time. Thanks for your patience!
Milk prices are going up to 50 cents each, starting immediately. This is only for a la carte milk: It is still included with the meal for free!
We've just received word that Route C (the area near Camp Mohave Elementary) has broken down. Another bus is being sent to retrieve those students, but both the elementary and JH route C will be late today. More information will be shared as it becomes available.
The Tribal Boys and Girls Club and JOM will be closed on Friday, September 28th. Parents whose children attend will need to make other arrangements for that day.
CMES would like to thank Valley View for taking the time to visit our fifth grade class on Monday. After studying the human body, the visit gave the students the real life application of the knowledge. During the presentation, students looked at x-rays, learned about the skeletal system, and even got a demonstration on basic treatments. Thank you again Valley View Medical Center.
