Buses have let the junior high!
The buses are starting to arrive at the junior high now. We will let you know when they leave the school: At this point, you can expect students to be about 90 minutes later than their normal time.
We just received word from the Fire Department that they will be guiding buses to the junior high, and should arrive to the school within the next 15 minutes. We will keep you posted here.
Parents with kids in the ROCK-It program at Fort and Camp Mohave: Since we have buses waiting to get to the JH, we will only be using two buses for the elementary after school club, meaning routes will be longer. If you can pick up your child from the program today, please do.
Boundary Cone is still closed. The full staff is with children, so no worries there. We will keep you updated as those updates become available to us.
We just received word that Boundary Cone is closed. The JH buses will likely be late, and the phones went out with the last power flick. Please stay tuned to the app and social media for updates as they come in.
Boundary Cone is now passable by bus. There were a few kids from Route D who couldn't be dropped off: We will take them to the junior high and notify those parents from there.
Due to the thunderstorm, elementary routes D and E will be running late. Stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.

MVJHS volleyball game cancelled due to area flooding and student safety. We will attempt to reschedule.

This might look like rice krispy treats and green cake to the untrained eye....but look closely and you will find that Mr. G’s 8th grade science class at MVJHS is busy creating reproductions of living cells!
MVJHS is celebrating Mr. Gutierrez! Known as “Mr. G” to our students, he is proud to share that he has authored a nonfiction book entitled “I Survived: A Filipino Teacher’s Journey to Teaching in the United States”. Mr G has taught science in our district for 12 years and has been the recipient of the McKellips award twice. He has presented at several conferences on the art of instruction and uses that knowledge in elevating the classroom experience for his students. We our proud to have him on our team. Go Bulldogs!
MVJHS celebrated Mrs. Sgroi and Mrs. Polsinelli as we soon will be welcoming Baby Zoe and Baby Gianna to our Bulldog family. Go Bulldogs-we can’t wait to see our new “pups”!
CMES is excited to congratulate Erika Delgado for her performance on the AZMerit Math test at the end of last year. After reviewing her score, it was found that she had scored a perfect score on the 3rd Grade Math Test. While scoring proficient and highly proficient on any standardized test is difficult, it is rare for any student to get every question right. If you see Erika, don't forget to congratulate her on the achievement.
CMES is excited to announce that our mascot has a name. Previously just the Camp Mohave Coyote, CMES had a name the mascot contest. Ruby and Adrian came up with the winning name of Odee the Coyote.
Fridays are always good days, but with pizza, they’re great! Happy Friday from your Dust Devils 🎉!
Next Thursday, all FME students are encouraged to wear a college shirt. This is free, and will occur monthly! The days are already set on our district calendar, so be ready!
Camp Mohave would like to give a huge shout out to the Women of the Moose Club in Bullhead City for their generous donation of school supplies. They included everything from notebooks and pencils to backpacks. If you see any of the ladies, give them a huge thank you from CMES.
FME's annual cookie dough fundraiser kicks off tomorrow! Look for information coming home. This is separate from our 1st Annual Color Run happening on November 2 at Mohave Valley Elementary School! We're excited!
