Dust Devils learning about acids and bases. Also the red apples seemed to produce more bubbles than the green apples.

CMES is excited to highlight the active learning happening in the classroom. This past week, third grade students in Mrs. Bedico's room collaborated with each other to create Cause and Effect Folders. Thank you to the students that did all that work, and thank you to Mrs. Bedico for sharing.
Early this morning, the MVJH administration was notified regarding a threat that was communicated over social media last night. The reported threat was to occur today. Following our protocol, which included a soft lockdown, we were able to quickly investigate the matter in cooperation with district administration and Mohave County Sheriff’s Office. Based on the investigation, it has been deemed that there is not an immediate danger to our students and staff. Please note, we are continuing to investigate the threat and are working closely with MCSO as we pursue appropriate legal and disciplinary action in accordance with our policies and procedures.
At MVJH, we take the safety and security of your children very seriously. We will take every threatening comment seriously, and we will investigate diligently to determine the threat level. Additionally, we will take appropriate disciplinary action to deal with any student who threatens our safe and secure school environment.
I want to commend those that did come forward with this information today. Together, with your assistance, we can continue to provide a safe and secure learning environment that our students deserve.
Thank you for your continued support.
Cole Young, MVESD Superintendent

Buses just left the Fort Mohave School- 25 minutes late
Transportation: All bus routes are running 20 minutes behind schedule.
Buses are now loading and we do have a route D. All buses should be ready to leave the Camp in about 5 minutes. This will put the routes about 20 minutes behind schedule.
We have been informed that bus routes are running late to get to Camp Mohave. This will make all routes late to their stops. Additionally, route D will be delayed even further. CampMohave Route D students will be kept in the Camp Mohave gym until a bus arrives to take them home. Should you prefer, you can pick up Camp route D students at the school once other buses have departed from the school.
