\r\nParents and Guardians:
\r\nMVESD Kinder-Preschool Jumpstart Academy will be available to students entering Preschool or Kindergarten in the 2022-2023 school year at no cost. This is an opportunity for prospective parents to come and meet teachers, tour our facilities and have their child attend school for a half-day for two weeks before school starts.
\r\nThis Camp will allow our Preschool and Kindergarten students to experience school and what it means to attend in a smaller, more intimate environment before all the other students arrive on campus on August 1st. This Camp provides for a shorter day (half-day) to build the stamina needed for our youngest students to succeed when the school year begins.
\r\nThis Camp also allows our new students to ease into this transition by having the opportunity to ride the bus, eat in the cafeteria, learn the layout of our campus, and provide the confidence needed when arriving at school on the first day.
\r\nThe primary focus will be on ELA and Math foundations and the introductions of routines and familiarity with the climate and culture of learning within Fort Mojave Elementary School while allowing our teachers to get to know your child and jumpstart their school year.
\r\nThis unique no-cost opportunity not only helps your child to adjust to their new school environment but also allows you, as a parent, the comfort of knowing the process and procedures of school before the year begins.
\r\nLet’s ‘Jumpstart’ together into a great beginning to learning within the MVESD educational family!
\r\nThe Kindergarten class size limit is 20 (with an aide)
\r\nThe Preschool class size limit is 15 (with an aide)

When: July 11-22 (Monday through Thursday) - 7am-Noon
\r\nWhere: Fort Mojave Elementary School
\r\nTransportation is provided within the District boundaries.
\r\n\r\n
Registration Closes 6/30/2022 unless classes fill before this date - a waiting list will then be formed.

Daily Schedule:
\r\nBus schedules will be available at the close of camp registration - Late June.
\r\n7:00-7:30am - Before School Childcare - No-cost option
\r\n7:30-8:00am - Breakfast (No charge)
\r\n8:00-11:00am - School Experience
\r\n11:00-11:30am - Lunch - Transportation home after lunch (No charge)
\r\n11:30-12:00pm - After-school Childcare - Parent Pick-up - no-cost option
