MVESD Stakeholders:

The shelves at our local food banks are nearing empty, and families across our community are feeling the strain, especially as the effects of the government shutdown and reduced food subsidies ripple through our region.

Mohave Valley Elementary School District (MVESD) is stepping up to help, but we can’t do it alone. We’re asking our parents, students, and community members to join us in restocking our food banks and bringing hope to local families who rely on this essential support.

Every can, every box, and every act of generosity brings comfort to a neighbor in need. In addition to donating non-perishable food items, you can also make a charitable contribution to the Bullhead Regional Food Bank, directly supporting this important cause and keeping your impact right here at home.

Here’s how your donation can make a difference:

$25 provides a complete meal for 10 families.

$50 provides a complete meal for 20 families.

$100 helps feed 50 families, thanks to bulk partnerships with food distributors.

$250 provides one day’s worth of food for 200 families served through the Food Bank.

Your generosity, no matter the amount, helps ensure families throughout the Colorado River Valley don’t go hungry. What a powerful opportunity to show our children what it truly means for a community to come together and care for one another in times of need.

Food donations at our schools will be collected from October 29 through November 15.
