The Governing Board of the Mohave Valley Elementary School District approved the 2019-2020 school calendar at its February meeting. The calendar, which is nearly identical to the current calendar, again includes a split fall break in order to coincide with the high school district calendar, providing parents a common break in the fall.
"One additional change for the coming year is the observance of Veterans Day, this year on Monday, November 11th" noted Whitney Crow, Superintendent. "For the past couple of years, Veterans Day has fallen on a weekend" continued Crow. "The district has always been a firm believer in following the wishes of the original backers of a day honoring Veterans and the historical significance of the November 11th observance."
