We've seen and heard a bit of chatter today regarding the wearing of masks by our staff handing out and delivering meals.
As you know, the original CDC guidelines have changed, and it is now recommended that everyone wear masks. Following this weekend's announcement, we immediately began looking for homemade masks from local sources. The first set we received were not thick enough, so we've placed an order for a second set. As soon as those arrive, we will get them out to our delivery teams.
Food prep, service, and delivery staff are doing everything possible to keep our environments clean and safe, and have been very careful to follow CDC and industry guidelines, and will continue to do so: There's no point in putting something on our faces if it's not going to be effective, so we wait for the correct product. Please be patient while we secure masks that do the job in a time when EVERYONE is trying to secure masks.
