Mohave Valley Elementary School District currently has an opening for a Governing Board Member, and will consider requesting the County School Superintendent to fill that position at its January 28th board meeting. \r\n

\r\n

The person selected will serve for the remainder of the 2020 calendar year, and will be eligible to run for election for a full four-year term in the upcoming November election. \r\n

\r\n

The Governing Board meets monthly for regular meetings, as well as any additional special meetings when circumstances warrant. The board’s chief responsibility is setting school district policy, as well as hiring and evaluation of the district superintendent. \r\n

\r\n

Interested candidates should submit a letter of interest to Governing Board Secretary Stacy Fernandez via email, or physically to the district office, located at 8450 S. Olive Ave. in Mohave Valley prior to the January 28th meeting. Additionally, interested candidates should plan on attending the January 28th meeting, held at the Governing Board Room located on the campus of Mohave Valley Elementary, 1419 E. Willow in Mohave Valley for a brief interview. Submitting a resume with a letter of interest prior to the meeting may be helpful. \r\n
