Jennifer Perez is a special education paraprofessional at Camp Mohave Elementary School. Originally from Torrance, CA, Mrs. Perez moved to the tri-state as a child and is a proud Mohave High Graduate. She joined the MVESD staff 4 years ago. While working with the district, she has worked both in the cafeteria and in Special Education. Her current position gives her the opportunity to work with special needs children every day. She has a real passion and patience for kids who need a little extra support to be successful. Her bright smile and positive demeanor no matter the challenge has been a wonderful addition to Camp Mohave Elementary. This attitude has led to Mrs. Perez creating CMES mascot ODEE. Not only did she make the mascot outfit, but she wears it at many school events. For her, seeing the kids get excited and having a good time, makes all the work worth it. This is one reason her proudest moment is being able to move from the cafeteria to working more directly with kids each day as a SPED para.
