Mrs. Ashley Adams is on the homestretch of her fourth year of teaching 5th grade at Camp Mohave Elementary School. Originally from California, she completed her first degree at the California Polytechnic University of Pomona. However, after starting out in another field, Mrs. Adams discovered a desire to work with children. So, she went back to school and got her teaching degree from the University of Phoenix to begin her career as a teacher. While every day is a challenge, she says the rewards of making a difference and seeing that light bulb moment are worth every challenge she faces. On a personal note, Mrs. Adams keeps herself centered through being active with her family and the love of traveling. Camp Mohave is truly lucky to have her as a member of the team.
