Mrs. Debi Hargrove joined the CMES staff as a paraprofessional 20 years ago. Initially she came seeking to cure the boredom left when her youngest child began first grade. However, over time, she has come to think of the students and staff as a part of her family. She says that many students hold a special place in her heart. Prior to moving to Arizona and joining the MVESD team, she lived in Gardena, California until 1995.
While she misses a lot from her days in CA, she says the Camp is amazing and she is grateful to work with such an outstanding group of people. In addition to the family feel, Debi says that she loves her job because every day is a new challenge and there is always something interesting. She says the most rewarding part of working with the Coyote team is when a student remembers concepts previously taught and is able to apply them to new learning.
