The No Child Let Behind Act of 2001 (NCLB) amended the Protection of Pupil Rights Amendment (PPRA) to require that each local school district has obligations under PPRA and under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) to notify parents and students of their rights under both FERPA and PPRA.
