Welcome to my classroom for
the new school year 2009 - 2010. I will
be your child’s resource math &/or language arts teacher. My expectations are high. Students will need
pencils, paper, two or three spiral bound notebooks, and a three-ring binder
the first day of school.
The focus of my classroom is to improve your child’s math skills in math and
reading and writing skills in language arts.
Students’ learn how to take notes, use problem solving skills and
explain how to techniques to others, read for understanding and write clear
concise ideas. Students keep a daily journal as well as a notebook. In language
arts students will keep a daily reading log of their daily 30 minutes of
reading and write a minimum of 5 sentences about what they read.
And as always, you can check
your student’s grades online through our Think Wave Grading Program
